In today’s world, change is pretty pervasive in every organization and is regarded as a continuous and meteoric process. Change, being an inevitable part of every organization’s dynamics, employee resistance is usually inherent and can largely paralyze an organization. Organizations perceive change as a very important aspect in order to be on par with the continuously changing environment and challenging competition. On studying different kinds of literature it is evident that the success and progressive development of an organization tremendously depends on its ability to bring about a change in a way in which it properly aligns its internal organizational structure with the demands of the external world. Change can be of four types namely: natural, evolutionary, planned and unplanned change.
