According to her research millennial postulated that the origin of their narcissism is their societal or cultural changes particularly by extended focus on individualism. Jean twinge’s researches ground on NPI (narcissistic personality inventory). She and her colleagues ceased that the two-third of the millennials more narcissistic. Jaffrey Arnett antagonist the view of Jean Twinge and believe that the young generation are faintly representative. He also question mark that whether the Twinge’s NPI measures narcissism. He trusted that ‘millennial are unprecedented and philanthropic, they work for ameliorate the world’. Along with his teammates he believe that millennial are less narcissist. Brent Robert and his co-workers deliberated narcissism in different separate zones. They did not only outlook the narcissism trait directly but also saw other related traits like leadership quality, egotism and appropriation. They came to end that disparate generation interpret the statement differently. Findings of Brent Robert and his colleagues, ‘the millennials are slighter narcissistic than the other generations’. The difficulty that was emerging and view by Brooke lea Foster (2014) is the elucidation of the item in NPI. For instance the item ‘I like assertive’ or ‘I wish I were more assertive’ gauged narcissism, self-esteem, or leadership quality. Robert and his fellow workers trusted that the meaning of the items in NPI become different with the traversal of time. From this shift in denotation of the items they concluded that narcissism is slowly decreased from 1990s to 2010s.

Grubbs concluded that people who were high narcissistic must choose happy emoji and less narcissistic people choose sad emoji. Grubbs have a confident over that still millennial show more aggression, frustration and sadness as contrasted to other generation. Some researchers said that the level of narcissism exist higher in millennial than other generation and this is the reason Grubbs believes ‘narcissistic’ label have an effect on the attitude , behavior, emotions and the mental well-being of millennial generation.

According to Emile Anatole (2013) Millennials are optimistic while Generation Z are realistic. They comprehend how terrifying the world can be, having grown after the 9/11 which was the time of great recession and amid innumerable reports of school violence. I Geneneration also have discern the direct out-turn of economy and are highly aware of troubling time. All these pitch-black events will indubitably make them security minded and highly cautious, and also persuade them to enhance the world. Their nurturing has made them pragmatic and resilient. Instead of hiding from problems they are able to face that difficult situations and able to understand and confront that difficult times.
